Sharp AQUOS LC32LE700UN 32-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This is a wonderful TV. The picture is outstanding and the Home Theater Store in Houston not only came up with an outstanding price but excellent service. Try to buy from this store. They are the best.
Yes, the tuner is a little slow but 99% of us are going to use this set with HDMI sources like a HD cable or Satellite box - right? No flaws in the display but you have to open the little door on the remote and find the A/V mode that suits your environment. This set has a huge number of "knobs to turn" as far as setting up the picture so be careful and find the mode and settings that you need. Once you get it set - it will blow you away.
Yes, the sound isn't what you got out of the 250# "console" TV that you just replaced. It has small speakers because it's a flat panel TV. They are all that way. So stop complaining and go buy yourself a little 5.1 channel sound system that has an optical input. Hook it to the optical output of this set and the Cable or Sat box (see below) and it will be the best show you have ever heard or seen. Better yet, go buy yourself one that has a DVD upconvert or Blue Ray DVD player in it. The LG LHT854 on Amazon is a good example (for less than $200). Buy your optical and HDMI cables here on Amazon too and save a lot of $$. All the hype you read about certain cables being better is wrong. They don't need to be gold or start with "M". Speaker cables don't need to be big, fat and hard to work with. Unless you are running 2000 watts or more, 18 or 16 gauge wire is just fine. It's all digital data so there is no way the optical or HDMA cable can effect the quality of the sound or video. Be sure to connect your optical sound cable from your cable or Sat box directly to your sound system so you don't pick up a delay from the TV processing it. IF your sound system has only one optical input, buy an optical splitter/combiner on Amazon for a couple of dollars and combine the optical sources from the TV and cable or Sat box. This all works.
Sharp has taken the most appropriate road on LED backlighting in my view, simply replace the florescent system with proven technology that was developed for the laptop industry by leaders like Apple. It's very bright and even.
Since writing the above review, I have become even more sold on this product. Sharp has a fairly small market share in this field so they try hard to support their users. They offer a program called Aquos Advantage. It includes 3 mo.of warranty extension and a newsletter with info on using their products. It also includes a REAL help line you can call to get help if you don't understand something or can't make a feature work. If you are new to HDTV this may be of value to you. They also have a Facebook page and are very responsive through that site. The bigger manufactures may have these contacts as well but Sharps people seem to care about each customer.
The other thing I have noticed is the quality of the graphics engine. I connected my 3 year old standard def (480P) DVD player to the set using the "component" connection and the picture is as good or better than from an HDMI-connected Up-convert player. This indicates that the graphics engine in this set is outstanding.
When you get yours, open the little door on the bottom of the remote control and check out the different preset video modes. You will find them very helpful as you try different sources or types of material.

With the introduction of the LC32LE700UN, Sharp combines its legendary AQUOS LCD panel technology with a newly developed, proprietary Full Array LED backlight system to create picture quality that is second to none. The LC32LE700UN illustrates Sharp's LCD technology leadership while also demonstrating its LED engineering advantages. Sharp's Ultra Brilliant LED system illuminates the TV to extremely high brightness and contrast levels and enables significant environmental benefits such as longer life expectancy, no heavy metals and lower power consumption. At the same time, the new XGen LCD Panel utilizes an ingeniously devised pixel design that permits more light to pass through even while minimizing light leakage, with the result being the deepest black levels that AQUOS has ever achieved. VIZIO VW32LHDTV40A 32-Inch Class HD 720 p HDTV, Black Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This TV is perfect for those who just want to get with current technology, and want a decent sized, and compact TV.
You will definitely see a picture improvement over traditional television, and the picture looks very good for bright pictures (ie sports games, most television shows).
Picture clarity is pretty good, the artifacts are pretty minimal.
What this TV is severly lacking in, is depth of color. Don't listen to other reviews that say "it's just as good as higher priced televisions," because it's not. This is very noticable in low light levels, the colors get very washed out, to a disappointing degree.
The sound is not bad, a lot of the lower priced flat planel speakers sound very tinny. Its speakers sound worse than higher quality sets, but are still pretty tolerable.
All in all you get what you pay for. This TV isn't garbage but it's not going to win any awards. If you are looking for a TV to watch football on Sunday in hi-def this is the television for you. If you are a gamer, or a movie enthusiast with a blu-ray player, save up your money and go with a higher quality television, as you will find the depth of color on this television a bit disappointing.

Toshiba REGZA Cinema Series 46SV670U 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with LED Backlight and ClearScan 240, Black Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Unless you want an inch thin LCD TV, this should be your TV of choice. I went to Sixth Avenue where they had an exceptionally large selection of LCD and Plasma TVs. This TV had the best picture quality of any LCD TV they had. I was planning on getting a Samsung 1080P 120Hz thin LED TV (could not quite swallow the price of the 240Hz) model until I read reviews of streaks in the picture quality when watching the TV in a dark room. I then moved on to the less expensive non LED Samsung 240Hz LCD TV which is still $400 more than this Toshiba. Luckily, the salesperson asked me to take a look at this TV first. This TV is back-lit LED which makes the TV thicker, but provides better picture quality than the side-lit LEDs in the thin Samsung. The 240Hz was a real bonus--especially in a TV that sells for this price. I have had the TV for a month now and could not be happier with it. I have had friends that visit comment that this TV has the best picture quality they have ever seen in any TV. This is the best 46-inch LCD TV you can buy that sells for a price that's unbelievably low when compared to the competition. It might not be the thinnest LCD LED TV, but it does have the best quality picture in any LCD TV. It is just one awesome TV.

Sony BRAVIA XBR Series KDL-40XBR9 40-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV, Black Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I will admit up front that I am a complete HDTV newbie. I hung on to a 20 year old, 22 inch CRT color "monitor television" for far too long, in part because I do not watch much television programming (a bit of baseball, PBS, occaisional Law & Order reruns, that sort of thing) and in part because the whole HDTV techno nerd thing was too intimidating. After much online research and a few surreptitious visits to Big Box electronics stores, I finally settled on the 40XBR9 and bought it from an Amazon seller -- and could not be more pleased with my selection. The picture quality is simply riveting. The menus are reasonably user friendly and I have not found it all that difficult to calibrate for optimum results in a softly lighted room. With minor tweaking, the factory defaults work well for most cable television programming. I used the CNET suggested calibration for movies on the 52XBR9, and it works very well on this 40 inch unit.
This is a beautiful television. The bezel is as slim as they come and is an unadorned, moderately glossy black. While it is not a small television, it is not too overbearing for a medium sized bedroom or office. Considering its slender bezel, and the fact that there are no visible speakers, the sound is more than adequate for watching most TV programming. I purchased a ZVOX 525 sound base and an OPPO blu ray player to go with it. I have yet to watch a blu ray disc, but upscaled DVDs like Ratatouille and Wall-E are incredibly crisp, vivid and detailed, with wonderfully natural color, deep, pure blacks and brilliant whites and grey tones. With sound from the ZVOX, this is a wonderful way to enjoy movies in a moderate sized room without an enormous investment of time and money and without a lot of wiring and equipment monopolizing the space.
The one down side is that the XBR9 is not very forgiving of poor quality source material. My local cable provider still offers a limited selection of true HD content. SD television does not fare well on this set, although with some tweaks you can get acceptable picture quality -- ratchet down the sharpness so the poor resolution is not obvious, use a 4:3 aspect ratio rather than 'stretch' the image to fill the screen, so the perspective is not distorted, turn down the brightness and restrict the color range to avoid the exaggerated and artificial hues that seem to be part and parcel of SD TV, and you get a reasonable picture on par with a decent CRT. But once you've seen good quality 16:9 HDTV content, you will be somewhat disappointed with SD sources.
This competes head to head with the high end LCD and "LED" TVs from Samsung. I think it beats them for at least two reasons. First, the Samsung models have a very glossy, "wet look" screen, which is really a distraction. Under some conditions, it gives the picture more "pop," but except in a darkened room, the glare problem is insurmountable. Second, the comparable Samsung televisions have wider and more obtrusive bezels with a brilliant piano black finish, which is made even more garish by Samsung's somewhat ludicrous red "Touch of Color" gimmickry. The Samsung design is like over the top prom wear. The 40XBR9 is the electronics version of the perfect, simple and refined little black dress.
Prices seem to fluctuate wildly -- the prices quoted on the date of this review are about 15% higher than they were when I made my purchase ten days ago. You may want to keep an eye on the market and catch the next wave of "sales." But you won't buy this TV because it is an inexpensive "bargain" -- you may buy it because dollar for dollar, it will give you the most pleasure during the years it will be in service.
TWO MONTHS LATER: Having now had the opportunity to use my Sony 40XBR9 to watch post-season baseball in HD, as well as a number of blu-ray discs, I remain as pleased with my purchase as ever. This has transformed the way we watch movies and cable programming at home. I added a Harmony One remote to the system to avoid the remote control shuffle required to operate the blu-ray player, Zvox, cable box and Sony in tandem. It all works nicely and with a minimum of effort.

Samsung LN32B550 32-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)2 months after receiving this TV the screen has gone black. Samsung instructed us to ship it to a service repair center and shipping is the responsibility of the customer. I called UPS and the cost to custom-pack a 32" televisions is 120 $. I called Samsung to request a box to ship it in and they re-iterated, shipping is the responsibility of the customer - but would send me a return label. So now we have an 800 $ television that's going to cost 120 $ to pack for warranty. We've only had it two months. I see from another reviewer that sending it Samsung is no guarantee the television will come back any time soon.
On a related note - up until 2008 Samsung's 32" televisions received free in-home repair service. As of 2009 32" is now considered "small" and must be shipped to the manufacturer for service.
Great TV just don't throw away the box and if it breaks take a deep breath and don't bother calling Samsung for sympathy.
Update September 17, 2009: It's been a month and we still don't have our TV back. We've called Samsung every week since they received it. Today we were told the replacement part would take too long to arrive and they would begin the process of approving a replacement television. This process entails Samsung repair shipping the TV to Samsung corporate. Once corporate receives the TV they can can process the replacement. If our TV is no longer available they will offer us something "comparable". This new phase should take "less than a month".

OmniMount Power40 Articulating Motorized Wall Mount for 23" to 46" Displays (Black) Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Bought this product to mount a 40" Samsung LED TV. The mount was easy to install and set-up. The trickiest part of the install is hiding the wires (for TV and mount motor) for a professional look. I chose to run my wiring into the wall behind the TV for a clean look. Take time and plan this part before cutting into your wall! When the mount is not extended, it rests very close to the wall for an extremely low profile look. This works especially well for thin LED TVs or rooms with limited space. The mount swivels into 3 programmable positions allowing the TV to have multiple watching positions. I can swivel the TV so that I can watch it from the recliner, hit the remote, and continue watching TV while grilling on the patio! I absolutely recommend this product to anyone with a room where you want the flexibility to watch TV from different positions and the ability to very easily change positions with the touch of a button.

No screws, just screw the poles into each other and you are done. Very sturdy, solid pieces, looks very sleek and expensive, looks better than most chain stores smaller stands that cost around $150 -$200. Easily holds my 46" Samsung and cable boxes, very stable. cant beat this deal.

(More customer reviews)If your like me, I wanted an HDTV without paying a fortune, and this is the one to get. Under $600 at Walmart in Nov. 08. I had a Comcast tech hook up my HD box and this TV was accepting the 1080i signal even though the ad says 720p. The picture looks like a bright and vibrant professionally taken photograph! No complaints. What I really liked is sometimes the HD signal will cut off the bottom and top of the picture but the VISIO has an easy menu that quickly allows you to adjust the vertical size without distorting the picture so you can always watch a full screen. Sound quality is pretty good with the built in speakers but would be awesome with a surround sound system. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed with the purchase of this HDTV. Nice looking TV too! Remote is simply laid out, user friendly and functional without being overly complicated. This is the VW37L model which is the newest offering from VISIO. I am a happy HDTV camper!

Syntax Olevia LT37HVE 37-Inch HD-Ready Flat-Panel LCD TV Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)this is my second wide screen TV, the other is a 49" widescreen
projection type, this is my 1st thin LCD
Pros: (1) crisp and clear picture, no bad pixels
(2) good sounding speakers, audio presets in menu
(3) stylish cabinet design, cool light over input terminals
"only stays on for a little time though about 1 min,
but still a good and cool idea"
(4) POP12 = tv lover mode, source and swap between
13 screens, 12 mini around 1 main
(5) prompt technical support
(6) loads of inputs, vga support
(7) OLEVIA name lights when TV off " this isnt so much
a PRO, its just cool"
Cons: (1) doesnt play all widescreen movies properly
"make sure your dvd player is set to 16:9 or
none of them will. I found this out when I 1st tried
watching some DVD's, I e-mailed tech support
about this and I recieved a correct responce within
1/2 an hour"
(2) supports only 2 aspects 4:3, 16:9 "my other set
has NORMAL 4:3, FULL 16:9 and an additional
3 THEATER aspects to choose from, so most
movie aspect types are supported"
(3) hazy, foggy movie scenes show patterns " I dont
know how to explain this, for brief time tiny dark
diamonds appear during foggy or hazy video
playback"
(4) takes 4.5 to 5 seconds to switch between video
modes, and there is a sound hickup about halfway
through the switch over.
(5) poorly design'd remote, "it should have the nice,
big number input at the bottom, and the hidden
but vital controls at the top but not hidden..."
(6) wall hanging bracket additional and expensive
for the most part I like this TV, the video playback is crisp and as
clear as the signal it recieves, the cabinet is attractive IMHO, the
speakers produce good sound. BUT if I were getting it for a home
entertainment system I'd be unhappy, the lack of aspect types
means you will run into movies that play in a aprox. 26" diag format
"Lake Placid widescreen version, for instance", but I'm not, so thats
not so important, the 4.5 - 5 second long video mode switch over
time, and BRIGHT blue screen, and audio hickup is annoying, the
remote is odd, it has a standard layout "like a telephone" fairly large
keyed, well labeled number input section at the top, a circular channel,
volume, menu in the center, and a hidden "slide open/off" compartment,
with important controls at the bottom, the problem is the slide cover is
difficult to open, when you slide it off the remote looks incomplete, and
creates sharper pointed corners, also the buttons are small and
closely spaced, and are rather hard to read in low light, a bad design
IMO. for the low Amazon price I paid, I can put up with these minor
irritations...

A member of Syntax's high-quality, low-priced Olevia family of HDTV-ready LCD TVs, the widescreen, 37-inch LT37HVE is perfect for style- and budget-conscious home theater buffs looking to integrate it with any of a range of video sources, from DTV set-top receivers to DVD players and VCRs. More than just a high-quality TV, the set's PC inputs also make it equally suitable for home offices. The 1,366 x 768 (WXGA) LT37HVE is even upgradeable to full-fledged HDTV status: you can replace its NTSC tuner module with an ATSC/DTV-capable tuner at a future date, improving the TV's already-excellent use of space.A stunningly attractive black-and-charcoal bezel frames the high-quality flat-panel screen. Super-IPS (super-in-plane-switching) technology heightens color saturation, broadens viewing angles, sharpens images, boosts response time, and minimizes the visible color shift and distortion from any angle, resulting in exceptional, 178-degree viewing angles (for excellent picture quality from any seat in the room), a vivid 1,200:1 contrast ratio, and an incredible 8 ms response time for seamless, ghost-free, full-motion images with even the most demanding video games and action films. The TV also boasts an impressive brightness rating of 800 cd/m2.LCD screens offer a number of benefits over CRT monitors and televisions, including general ease of use, freedom from eye strain (no screen flickering or radiation emissions), quiet operation (no high-pitch "flyback" noise, an issue with CRT TVs), accurate image geometry (no curvature distortion or susceptibility to magnetic interference from, say, speakers), long screen life, and light weight/easy positioning. They also tend to be more affordable than their flat-panel plasma counterparts, which often (though not always) offer faster response times and higher contrast ratios. The TV's thin profile--just 5.6 inches--makes it easy to attach the set to a wall using an optional VESA-standard mounting kit (model WM-20D).The LT37HVE performs 3:2 pulldown detection and reversal, too--a handy feature for watching progressive-scan movie programs in their native 24-frame format. To adapt 24 frames-per-second movies to 30 fps video, frames in the original movie must be duplicated; 3:2 pulldown digitally corrects this duplication by removing the redundant information to display a frame-accurate picture.A 3D Y/Cdigital comb filter further enhances resolution by removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped T-shirt).The set has connections to spare, sporting a pair of HD-capable component-video inputs (480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i), analog and digital PC inputs (15-pin D-Sub VGA and DVI-I with HDCP), and 3 each S-video and composite-video inputs. When connected to a PC using the analog input (monitor cable supplied), the TV functions as a high-quality multimedia display with the ability to simultaneously show TV or DVD movies on half the screen while letting you surf the Internet and access e-mail or PC documents on the other half. Dual built-in NTSC TV tuners permit split-screen, multi-image tiling, and picture-in-picture (PIP) viewing.A pair of speakers driven by 20 watts each deliver high-quality sound.Want to enhance the sound from your movies and TV programs? Feed the set's dedicated subwoofer output to a stand-alone powered subwoofer to enjoy additional punch and an further degree of realism from your movies and music.Other features include a built-in alarm clock, a sleep timer, V-Chip parental controls, auto dialogue tone correction, auto volume leveling (minimizing drastic swings in listening level between program and commercial), simulated surround sound, favorite channel, last-channel recall, closed captioning, and a multilingual menu accommodating English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. What's in the Box TV, remote control, remote batteries, 1 VGA monitor cable, 1 composite-video/stereo analog audio AV cable, an AC power cord, warranty information, and a user's manual.

(More customer reviews)Best picture I've ever seen on a flat screen. One of the best features of this TV is the amazing viewable angle. I can stand nearly parallel to the screen and still see what's on the screen, not at all like the older LCDs or awful projection units. Sharp, crips colors - pixel plus - progresive scan - and automatic picture adjustment make for a very satisfying viewing experience when watching a movie or a HDTV program.

Double-pivot Full Motion Flat Panel Mount Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This Mount for our 26" TV works wonderful! It moves just like they say every direction and even tips down so when we hung it up higher on our wall in the bedroom it was perfect! There was one thing really that I need to tell you. I didn't understand what one or so people in other reviews were talking about when they say it sags when putting a bigger TV on it. Now I know! It does sag a inch further down when you put a bigger TV on it. We put a 26 inch Flat panel TV on it which also is the biggest I think this mounting bracket said it could hold. The TV is way under the weight that the bracket can hold and it holds our TV with NO Problems, but when measuring the height be sure you understand to allow that the TV when up will be 1 inch lower. Please don't let this deter you from getting the mounting bracket. The price is great and it will hold the bigger 26 inch TV just fine! I was worried but I am REALLY happy I got this cheaper one. Oh and it was so easy to install too!

Envision L37W698 - 37" LCD TV - widescreen - 720p - HDTV Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)We bought several of these units for our company simply for Large Screen PC Displays using Graphics Software and so far they are more than we expected. Envision is a very good brand in terms of LCD PC Monitors and has a Very Low failure rate. This unit features many things not found in sets of this price including:
Dual HDMI Inputs,
Remote based Color, Aspect and Sound Settings,
Infinite Zoom capabilities for those movies that never remove the black bars,
High Fidelity TV Sound when adjusted properly with good bass and treble supporting music,
Clear QAM Tuner that pulls in an extra 25 stations,
IN PC mode it features Auto Sleep when PC shuts off,
3 factory Service centers on East, Central and West Coasts,
Excellent Software Interface for TV and Menu.
As far as picture Quality it is not the Highest in SD mode but using HD it is as good as you will find in a Vizio also. This is one of the very few sets that can provide good sound, great picture, good Black levels, excellent functionality, and reliable service for a reasonable price.

Panasonic TH-37PX60U 37-Inch Plasma HDTV Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)So I bought this from Circuit City a month ago and I am so plaesed with this TV. It is replacing my old college TV (27" Zenith) and it is a night & day difference. Movies look awesome, it's so cool to watch widescreen movies without any letterbox - just clear picture from corner to corner.
I also have an xbox360 and the games look gorgeous on the screen. It really makes it a more enjoyable experience.
As for the components built in: HDTV tuner, 2 hdmi, 2 component, and analog as well. It comes with a stand which I use since my TV is in the corner of the room. Also comes with a mounting set up.
Cons:
There is a chance for burn-in, so you really have to be careful with turning the TV off when you leave & so on. That said, burn-in seems to go away if you don't leave the TV on for hours. For example, I was watching the Wolrd Cup on HD and for the rest of the day I had a little trace of the ABC logo and the scorecard. Nothing outrageous, but it is something you need to be careful about.Overall, I think this is one of the better entertainment purchases I've made in a while. If you enjoy movies, HBO documentaries, etc you will be thrilled with the quality of this TV.

Featuring Panasonic's 9th generation gas-plasma screen, the 37-inch TH-37PX60U features a width-to-height 16:9 aspect ratio similar to movie theater screens, providing a theater-like experience at home. Its maximum of 29 billion colors and over 3,000 shades of gradation provide exceptionally fine detail for outstanding HDTV reproduction. The set's built-in ATSC (DTV) tuner pulls HD signals (480p/720p/1080i) right from the airwaves, and its QAM tuner is fully compatible with unscrambled HDTV cable reception. A standard analog NTSC tuner receives standard-definition (SD) programming. It also includes a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot, enabling you to take an SD card directly from a digital still camera or camcorder and insert it directly into the TV for quick and colorful photo slideshows.
A plasma screen renders vivid colors like you've never seen before (as in, up to 29 billion in this case), extremely wide viewing angles (wider, even, than those of most LCD screens), and easy placement due to a plasma monitor's slim profile--the TH-37PX60U is a mere 3.7 inches deep, one of the slimmest plasmas around--perfect for desk or wall mounting. Brightness tends to be extremely uniform across plasma screens, which are also impervious to the picture distortion and negative color balances that afflict CRT monitors when placed near lighting or sound systems.
The TH-37PX60U features a 1024 x 720-pixel resolution and an amazing contrast ratio of 10000:1. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.) The 3D Y/C digital comb filter constantly analyzes the three dimensions of picture height, picture width, and picture changes-over-time, to reduce dramatically edge image artifacts while improving transition detail. Other features include V-Chip parental controls, on/off sleep timers, closed-caption decoding, aspect ratio control, and video input labeling.
The TV's internal stereo speakers are powered by 10 watts per channel (for 20 watts of total power). Special BBE ViVA HD3D surround sound processing creates spacious 3D effects from the two stereo speakers. It features the following connection options:
Component (Y/Pb/Pr): 2 inputs (with 2 audio inputs)
HDMI: 2 inputs
Composite (RCA audio/video): 3 inputs (1 on the front), 1 output
S-Video: 3 inputs (1 on the front)
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a lossless, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface to link any AV source with an audio and/or video monitor, such as a digital television (DTV). HDMI supports standard-definition (SD), enhanced definition (ED), or high-definition (HD) video, plus multi-channel digital audio--all using a single cable.
If a component doesn't have an HDMI connection, you'll also get great picture reproduction using the three-jack component video (Y/Pb/Pr) input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections. Component video output is available only for DVD playback.

Viore LC26VH56 26-inch LCD HDTV TV Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I took a chance on this tv since it was on clearance and couldn't be happier. The picture quality from the built in dvd player is gorgeous and since its built in there are fewer cables to manage.
If your going to mount this to a wall, just be aware that the mounting holes are spaced rather far apart. So most of the mounts designed for tv's this size will be to small. I had to return the first wall mount I bought and purchase a larger one because of this.
(The Viore website says that the tv is vesa wall mountable. If that means anything to you.)
Other than that little hiccup, this thing has been working perfectly for 6 months now.

GSI High-Grade Sturdy-Steel Articulating Arm Wall TV Mount with Tilt and Swivel Functions - for LCD/LED/TV/DVD/Combo/Blu-Ray Flat-Panel Monitors/Screens/Displays, Mounting Brackets Fits 32-Inch to 55-Inch Screens Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)There was one selling point for this bracket...its price. There is a reason this bracket is half the price of other articulating mounts.
I didn't need anything fancy, just something to keep the TV on the wall while articulating. It does the job and I have complete confidence that the TV will not fall off, unless you adjust the pitch. Through a poor design, the brackets that hold the TV to the mounting plate increase or decrease in length with the pitch adjustment. If you adjust the keeper screws to keep the brackets on the mounting plate with the TV pitched all the way, when you then change the pitch to 90 degrees, the keeper screws will no longer be holding the bottom of the brackets to the plate. As long as you aren't moving things, it should be okay, because all the weight is carried from the top, but it's still a poor design. Also, there is nothing stopping the brackets from sliding off the side of the mounting plate.

VideoSecu Black Tilting Wall Mount Bracket for Vizio VW42L LCD 42 inch HDTV TV with Free 7 FT HDMI Cable M43 Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This bracket is great for the price I paid....I have seen very similar brackets for double...it includes all the hardware you need and took about 15 minutes to get it out of the box and on the wall...The built in level doesn't seem like much, but it's nice to have mounted on the bracket. Very sturdy construction also.Don't waste your money on the ones at Best Buy, this one will do exactly the same thing for a lot less money. I would buy this bracket again.

This heavy duty steel mount fits most 37" to 60" Plasma TV or LCD monitor. This Universal Flat Panel Mount offers quality, versatility and security for 37" to 60" Flat panel televisions. It features a high capacity and low profile design, lift-n-lock installation and adjustable tilt for optimal viewing. When you're looking for a mounting solution for your flat panel television, don't settle for anything but this world's premier mounting products. And now available at the lowest price in the industry. Will This mount Fit my Plasma TV? First check the weight of your TV. It must be less than 165 lbs. Second, look at the back panel of your TV. If your TV has 4 holes or 6 holes on the back of the screen, measure the vertical and horizontal distance between the holes. If the vertical distance is within 2.95 inch to 18.5 inch, horizontal distance within 28 inch, then this bracket will fit. If you currently have a stand attached to your LCD TV this is usually removed prior to fitting the wall mount. Third, the width of your TV should be 32" or above. Otherwise the mount is too wide to hide behind your TV. This mount does not fit VESA800x400.
